Locked out or can\u2019t log in? Follow these steps to reset your password or recover your account\u2014and learn what to do if multiple failed attempts temporarily lock access.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Visit the Login Page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to\u202fsecondwindsocial.com\/login<\/strong> (or click Log\u202fIn<\/strong> in the site header).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click the Lost your password?<\/strong> link beneath the form.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    \n\n\n\n

    2. Request a Password Reset<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. On the Reset Password<\/strong> screen, enter the email address<\/strong> or username<\/strong> you registered with.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Click Reset Password<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. You\u2019ll see a confirmation: \u201cCheck your inbox for a reset link.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      3. Check Your Email & Set a New Password<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      1. Look for an email from\u202finfo@secondwindsocial.com<\/strong><\/a><\/code> titled \u201cPassword Reset for Second\u202fWind\u202fSocial.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Click the link in that message to open the Set New Password<\/strong> page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Enter a strong new password (at least 8 characters, mix of letters and numbers) and click Save Password<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. You\u2019ll be logged in automatically with your updated credentials.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
        \n\n\n\n

        4. Watch for Lockouts After Failed Attempts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        To protect your account from automated attacks, our system tracks every failed login\u2014whether it\u2019s a wrong password or a username\/email not in our records. After several unsuccessful tries, access is locked for 4 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
