Finish Your Required Details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Right after you sign up (just a username, email, and password), you\u2019ll see a friendly prompt in your profile sidebar asking you to complete your <strong>Essentials<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Date of Birth<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gender<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you enter those two required fields, the reminder disappears. These don\u2019t show up at signup again\u2014they\u2019re only in <strong>Edit Profile<\/strong>, so you can update them anytime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Open the Edit Profile Screen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click your avatar in the top\u2011right corner and choose <strong>Profile<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On your Profile page, click <strong>Edit Profile<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Tell Your Story Across Multiple Sections<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use the following groups to paint a full picture of who you are and what you\u2019re seeking:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>About Me &amp; Legacy Projects<\/strong>\u202f\u2013 Your personal introduction and the passion projects you\u2019re building.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Life Experiences<\/strong>\u202f\u2013 Where you are now: retirement status, major transitions, caregiving roles, and more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Interests &amp; Passions<\/strong>\u202f\u2013 Hobbies, creative pursuits, bucket\u2011list dreams, and travel goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Connection Goals<\/strong>\u202f\u2013 The kinds of friendships, collaborations, mentorships, or meaningful companionship you\u2019d like.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You don\u2019t have to fill out every field\u2014pick the ones that matter most to you. The more you share, the richer your connection opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Set Your Privacy Controls<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every field beyond <strong>Essentials<\/strong> offers four visibility options. Tap the little eye\u2011icon next to each field label and choose:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Public<\/strong>\u202f\u2013 Anyone (even without an account) can see this.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Members<\/strong>\u202f\u2013 Only logged\u2011in SWS members can view.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Friends Only<\/strong>\u202f\u2013 Only your confirmed connections can see.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Only Me<\/strong>\u202f\u2013 Private to you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mix and match to balance sharing with privacy\u2014your data, your rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Save Your Changes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Scroll to the bottom of the page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Save Changes<\/strong> (or <strong>Update Profile<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Look for the green confirmation banner\u2014your updates are live!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6.
